Our entire 'body' works as a whole system, and all systems are interconnected - so when something is not feeling right in one part of our body, it will affect our entire body. For example, if you aren't eating a healthy diet, it will affect how your body functions. This includes things such as your ability to deal with stress, your body's ability to fight off any viruses/bacteria, how well you sleep at night, how much energy you have throughout the day, and even your capacity to think clearly.

ways to restore health and bring balance back to their body.
Reflexology is a natural, non-invasive holistic therapy that works by applying pressure to reflex areas on the feet (and sometimes hands) to help restore balance to the corresponding systems of the body, by encouraging your body's own self-healing process. I cannot express enough how amazing yoga is! I believe it is probably one of the best things you can incorporate into your daily life to help restore holistic balance.
Many people get intimidated at the thought of doing yoga, thinking "I'm not flexible enough"... or "I'm not in good enough shape"... or
"I'm too old for that"... or whatever it is that you tell yourself.
But let me tell you that yoga is for EVERYONE!!!! ANYONE CAN DO YOGA. You simply just 'start where you are at' That means that you do the poses (asanas) within your own physical limits - for example, only stretch as far as you can, and maybe next week you can stretch a little farther.
My biggest message in my classes is to be gentle on yourself by being non-judgmental; don't compare yourself to others in the class. We are all unique individuals and we all have different levels of abilities.

Guided Relaxation /
Laying down or seated, get yourself into a comfortable relaxed position. Close your eyes and begin listening to the sound of your breath going in and out of your body... how does it feel?... what does it sound like?... are your breaths shallow or deep?... pay attention to your breath as you allow yourself to completely relax...
Guided Relaxation and Healing Meditation are two amazing and powerful techniques or mental exercises that I love to use as simple tools to help restore or bring about a more balanced state of holistic well-being. Our minds are very powerful and we can learn to channel our body's own natural healing ability through these types of practices.
